Well, since this merited a separate thread on Gordon, does anyone have a track plan of the service facility there? Since I can't build a layout, I've been tossing around the idea of building a diorama where I can display my Reading steam as I build them. I've narrowed it down to building a scale "false front" of the Reading Shops and modelling the yard in front of them, or modelling the engine house and some of the surrounding trackage in Gordon, since my eventual layout will be the Shamokin Division from Gordon as far as is reasonable in either direction (at least as far as St. Nicholas Breaker to the east, and Locust Summit to the west.) Of course the Reading Shop diorama justifies my #1251 being there.

There was one on good, old Ebay. It might still be there.

I saw those in a Google image search. The auction was over, though.

Check RCT&HS Bee Line 1995 issue # 2 for an article on Gordon.

Also an article in Model Railroader September 1958, pages 32 to 34, including a track plan.

Another "diorama" idea would be a turntable/roundhouse/coaling facility like Reading, Rutherford, or St.CLair.
