This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

I have finally found a place and reason to possibly buy a Trainmaster for Reading. American Models

I never bought 1 for PRR. I am guessing the yellow and green scheme is 1960s? Does anyone have good photos of the original scheme you can send me?

I am also getting the Bob Losse covered hopper book. Is there a list anywhere of other such Reading car books? I have John Hall's caboose book. What else is there?

Bill,
The article section of the READING Modeler here has a section on the diesels with pictures of the Train Masters in the original Pullman Green.

A Reading Trainmaster has hit the already massive to do list. Design and 3D print a part to fill in the gaping holes in the pilots for the swinging A F coupler and paint. Good to go.
