I know the FT had black handrails when they were received, but I don't know if the F3's and F7's were black when delivered and when the FT's were painted. Dates would be helpful.

don't take this is hard proof, but Something tell me around 1956-7. I think after FA-1 30's front end was redone after the crash they were painted yellow, and I think the rest of the cab units followed shortly after.
