Can anybody explain why this car is numbered RDG 9915? What class. Is it a numbering mistake?

Thanks!

I didn't have a problem with the boxcars. If this doesn't work, can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong.

990XX seems to be the heavy duty flat cars class, which included the deep well flats and depressed center flats. I am thinking this was mistakenly numbered 9915 instead of 99015...It appears to be identical to class FWd or FWe, although neither of those roadnumbers matches any records that I can find.

After looking at the picture, how can you tell what the roadnumber is? Are you going by someone else's information? If so, I would venture to say they are incorrect, and that this car is an FWd or FWe. 99050 is FWe...50 sounds similar to 15...maybe he phonetically misheard what it was.

The photo I have downloaded on my computer can be zoomed. It is definitely 9915. I had another photo, probably of the other side, that showed three nines. I can't locate that at the moment.
