What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

Here's a shot of two pickups, 1-Ford, 1-International. Note the boom with the ladders. This was taken in Philly, back in '76. I never saw this setup around Reading

Here is an actual shot of the door decal. I found it somewhere on the web but I can't remember anymore where.

Thanks Joanna Bill for that photo of the MOW Trucks.

I do have one question though. About what year Ford is that pickup truck?

That van. Is it a Ford too?

What years were the Hi-rail truck in the first post used? I see the speed lettered boxcar in the back, so that pic was at least 1956

I would say that it's a 67-71 Ford and yes that is a Ford van.
