My thoughts were a Mack B also.

Does it indicate where this is...? First time I have seen the loader crane device, definitely RCO with the diamond signage up top.

Chris you got me thing. I Googled Mack L and B series. The Mack L has a divider down the center of the grill. Truck in photo does not. Mack L has the stand alone headlight. Truck in photo does not.

Mack B has the air filter housing next to the hood/door, headlight integral with the fender, and no divider in the center of the grill. Same as the truck in the photo. So I agree with you! I am leaning towards the Mack B myself.

Rob... good eye on spotting the diamond on the loader crane...I never noticed it.

Looking at the photo it seems to me that the left fender is missing also.My guess is that this particular tractor was wrecked and it was found useful working as a yard tractor moving the trailers around,could be why the grill looks odd.In house fix with available parts perhaps.

I wrote the Mack Truck Museum. Here is what they had to say.

"The truck in the photo is either a Mack B61T or B615T tractor. It's hard to tell on the picture whether the radiator is of the cast top tank design or not. The cast radiator was used mainly in the V8 engine equipped B615T. The B61T was in production from 1953 to 1966. The B615T was in production from 1962 to 1966".

Definitely a "B" series. I thought it may have been a B42, but a 61 can't be ruled out. Those cast radiators that were mentioned before usually stick out like a sore thumb as the corners are very square on this model of truck. I want to also note a key spotting feature of the "L" series is the windshield is almost straight up and down. I should have some nice photos from the Macungie shows held annually, if I find them will post some spotting differences.
