The start:
I'll post updates as the build progresses.
The base is a P2K SW1200 chassis, slightly milled to fit the Shapeways 3D Printed shell.
Pics are of the mock up with couplers and fuel tank to check ride height.

Hi Paul. Just letting you know there are folks looking at posts here, if not jumping in much. Did you do the drawings for that shell? That's some amazing stuff those printers. In a weird way, it's almost a kind of modern day scratch building. Keep up the good work. -Bill

Yessir! I'm trying to get out all the 'forgotten' models, that may be popular, but not popular enough for big manufacturers to make as well as some odds and ends to specific railroads. I am taking requests for models and details.

Very nice work. Would like to see an SW1200m shell to fit on a Bowser Baldwin chassis, similar to what rdg5310 is doing elsewhere in the FTB forum. Bowser has talked about doing these units, but I don't expect they'll do anything else until they finish their RS3 project. We REALLY need the SW1200m units - they worked all over the system and according to Reading men were units that could haul anything...

SW1001 looks awesome - would love to see a finished, painted model!

I second that. we need the SW 1200m carbody. The carbody can fit right on the Stewart Baldwin chassis.
One other help for the SW1001 and would be roller bearing truck sideframes that are made for the P2K chassis. There would be a big market for these especially if the attachment method duplicates the existing type. All newer SW's etc use these. Des Plains Hobbies have done these but I have not figured out how to attach them in a robust way to the P2K trucks.

I will work on the SW1200m body to fit the bowser/stewart chassis. As far as the rollerbearing trucks, smokey Valley made or still makes direct replacement sideframes as far as I am aware. If these are no longer available, I can make ones for the 3D printer to go on anything you want.
