Rdgrail - nice work!! If I remember correctly, that's in O scale, right?

I was busy during my 3 week Christmas holiday/vacation! I have finished Brown's feed mill in Birdboro!

I got the logo from their website and even contacted the company, asking if they would like to see pictures. They responded and after I sent the pictures they responded again that they liked it. They also suggested I should model their new facility! Well, I'm in 1970, so that will not happen.

Back in November, I also finished the Birdsboro town shops. I had posted pictures of this before, but here's the finished building...

PLUS... this past week I finished the basement carpet wash... aka my sump pump went out during the warm-up/rain and I had about 3/4" of water in some spots in the basement. Thanks to a HOme Depot manager, they let me in after hours to buy a new pump and get it installed and running before going to bed. Took the next day off and started the long clean-up process. The good news in all of this, threw out some stuff I didn't need and this was rain water, not a sewer back-up situation. Everything is back in place as of yesterday, but will have to get the carpet shampooed/cleaned. (no padding under the carpet, so the shop vac dried it out pretty good, plus fans running for 4 days straight).
Whew...
Thanks,
Barry

oops forgot another project I had.... Thomas the Tank engine made an appearance on the Reading Lines - Central Division during our 26th annual open house/layout tour.

Here he is passing through Port Richmond!

YES... he has DCC and sound! While this was a bit expensive (about $150 total) the smiles on kids that attended the open house were worth it! I do have to modify it a bit, by adding some pick-ups on the coach wheels. There are a couple spots where he stalls out and the extra track power pick-ups should stop that. To install the DCC and sound was easier than I thought it would be. Enjoy!
Thanks,
Barry

The B9a is in Ho-scale. I plan to install DCC soon so I can have it switch the industries. Maybe I could have it work in Birdsboro ;)

Barry I absolutely love the scenery you did! It looks awesome! What company makes the town buildings? Also di you use the real "Thomas" sounds or the peanut whistle? I'd love to know how to do that! That's cool and it would be nice at the club I belong to. :)

Camelback in progress. I plan to number it 1112 and make it into the I6a-c class camelback. So far so good ;)
