I added another 40ft banner box car to my fleet.Again I used SCII RDG green and Floquil railbox yellow for the grabs and ladder rungs. The decals are from the RDG Modeler.I still need to apply some weathering to complete the unit.
NOTE;Microscale has just released new RDG decals(HO & N)40 & 50 ft box cars.Tom,can we expect any new decals? Wasen't there a poll taken on the old site? What were the results?

Those SOBs! I have artwork in process for the large RDG scheme, the boxcar red "speed lettering" and 50' banners. I guess I'll have to order a set to see what they've done in terms of classes, etc. Maybe the approach is to create a supplemental set.

Well THIS is certainly a disappointing development. I suppose my approach will be to create a more cost-effective, more detailed set. Looks like you can only do a couple individual classes for each scheme, from what I can see on the website. As anyone who uses my decals knows, I provide data to accurately letter as many classes as possible.

Sorry Tom,didn't mean to make you go ballistic.Yes,I'll probably check out their new release, only natural.I hope it doesn't change any of your plans concerning new decal releases.I've used your decals and have found them to be high quality, easy to work with and the results speak for themselves.Keep them coming and thanks for your continued efforts.

Chris - looking good as always!

Tom - a supplement set of class decals sounds like a good plan. WOuld be less work and quicker to get out too.

The only suggestion I have is to check the shade of yellow used. The sets from Highball Graphic look promising. I haven't seen any in person.

I have used the Herald King sets, but the yellow seems wrong.

I ordered a set of the new Microscale decals today - when they arrive I'll provide review/commentary. Quite frankly, I've been so busy working on the website migration that I haven't had much time to work on decals. I'm a little curious as to where they got their data.
