I've been kicking an LOa project around, so with that said I dug through my collection of articles and prints. Unfortunately, came up with nothing. On a positive note, Detail Associates FC 6218 is a round covered hatch that very closely resembles those in the Bossler book photos.

I built one several years ago, using a roof from a roundhouse covered hopper. I will have to go to my storage unit tonight to take a photo of it.

ive been toying with the idea of a 3d printed roof, hatches, etc to model these cars. stay tuned...

Here is mine.... There is another topic on these cars somewhere else here as I recall posting this before...... Anyway, Athearn twin offset, MDC "roof" with repositioned hatches, a mix of decals by John Hall and John Caples.
