HI Rob...
have to answer your question with a question... what else is going to go in this area/corner?

You mention turnouts, so I'll guess you are planning a siding or tow for some local industries. If that is thecase and curved turnouts cannot be found, then yes, go with the larger radius and straights. Bigger is better on radius!
Thanks,
Barry

Some configuration of switches for, Windsor Service -( Road construction aggregates hoppers & tankers)/ Bachman Bakery - (bulk sugar flour etc.)/ A boiler maker - (perhaps some outgoing flats with boilers maybe-maybe not)/ and General Battery - (Chemical tankers and boxcars).

If I get to really feeling frisky I could add a siding for Berks Products - heating oil, MG Industries (liquid gases) or even Western Electric - although they didn't have sidings.

It could be a busy almost 15 feet of railroad.

Rob

Really nice Rob...between yours and Robin's recent posts I think its time for me to shelve my modeling efforts and concentrate on getting my layout up and running.

It's an honor to hear my work's helped to inspire you to you, Chris. It's time I got working on rolling stock. I have several F&C, Westerfield, and BCW kits squirreled away and haven't built one for years. It's high time I get to work; I wish I were a quarter as prolific as you.
