What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

Rob,

Exeter Township is where I live, the mainline is about three blocks from my home. Where along the tracks did you snap that shot?

I might add Exeter Township is where I live, about 1 mile from the Gibraltar Road "Quinter's Bridge". I grew up - teen years basically, living on Gibraltar Road. So, officially I am back in the hood, as I recently moved 3 blocks from my Mom's former residence. If it would have been west instead of east, I would be also 3 blocks from the railroad instead of a mile.
