Take it one step at a time - when I was finishing the train barn I wasn't particularly thrilled with drywalling, sanding, painting, etc. (although I did have considerable help), but a clean, finished organized space will help you make progress that much faster once you do start modeling - think of it as an investment!

Dan; I know what you are going through. 6 years ago We had to move from a 3 bedroom twin home, to a 2 bedroom apartment. All my stuff is in a storage unit. Of course all my train stuff is in the front for easy access. I will be going over there to choose what Reading train to run at the Greenberg show next week at Oaks,Pa.

I'm in that same boat. Our addition was finished two years ago. The basement train room drywall is up, finished, and painted. Wiring is in. I still have to finish the ceiling which is complicated by all the piping nd ductwork and am having trouble getting motivated. Gotta think of Tom's advice and just keep at it. And Bill, I'm adding storage where ever I can!--Dave

Who else aside from t1nut will brave the elements and attend the Oaks show this weekend? 2 to 4 inches of snow is in the forecast for Saturday, so it might be a slippery ride. Hope the weather doesn’t keep the vendors home.
