Just completed the photo index of my sixth Reading hardback book.
I now have a way to find "that picture" I am looking for in
RDG Diesels V2(DWW), Rdg Co Facilities V#1 east of Philly, Rdg In Color V#1, Rdg RR Action V#1 @ Outer Station, V#II Rdg & Beyond),and VIII Trittenbach. Next I'll finish up Woodland's RDG Diesels V#1.
And I can sort it by class, road number, location or date and a few other variables.

No wonder I don't get any modeling done!

Disassembled my 5212 and painted the interior a light green and added a crew.Next...adding some truck detail and weathering.
For anyone interested in doing this the model disassembled nicely. The removal of the railings was easy with no damage to them or the applied paint. The body shell slips off easily after removing the couplers and no silly headlight bulb wires to worry about. There are four tabs on the under side holding the cab...just push up on them and the cab will release. The interior just pops out from the bottom. It is not glued...held in place by friction pins that connect it to the window glazing.I did remove the grab iron on the short hood to make the cab removal easier...I'll reinstall it with CA.

Along with researching my clinic for this year's Reading Modelers Meet (at the end of September), I am working on a couple of locomotive projects.
As I mentioned in October (RRMM1) I thnk that the Athearn/MDC RS-3 is the most accurate body dhell available, but the drive certainly is not the beset for adding DCC/Sound. To that end I have started work on repowering the first of several, nearly completed locos with an Atlas power unit. More to come on this one.
