In this closer view, you get a better appreciation for Mark's scratchbuilt roof vents. The terra cotta caps for the walls were fabricated from half-round styrene and styrene strip. The roof (not shown here) is built from 60-grit black sandpaper affixed to 0.20" aluminum. Imagine this model when completed with a host of interior details, figurines, tools, and so on - you can almost smell the
smoke and the oil!
