Image information
Here we see Reading FP-7s #902 and #903 idling at Pottsville on Jeff Smith's home layout. The Reading's FP-7s were the only locomotives that the railroad purchased solely for passenger service, and hauled such famous Reading trains as the Crusader, King Coal, and the Schuylkill, as well as the push-pull train between Philadelphia and Reading in the road's final days. These units are Intermountain models that Jeff detailed and weathered. The REAL #902 and #903 have been preserved and restored, and sister #900 is awaiting restoration as well.
